Return Policy
The Wine C.A.R.T. guarantees the quality of all our products and services. Your satisfaction is our first priority. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your order, please contact us within 30 days of receipt of your order for Customer Service at chris@winecartoh.com.
Note: There is a 25% restocking fee for all cancelled and/or returned items, and all returns shipping and handling charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Please place the item back in the box in the original packaging the same way you received it. It is important to retain all packaging materials. Do NOT attempt to ship the item back to us without first contacting chris@winecartoh.com as this will void any insurance coverage and you will not be credited. Our Returns Department will then start a claim for you.
CREDIT CARD REFUNDS
The Wine C.A.R.T. processes refunds to the credit card used at time of purchase upon receiving your returned shipment. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for the refund credit to appear on your statement.
TYPES OF RETURNS
Defective Merchandise
If you receive a defective product from the Wine C.A.R.T. we will issue a store credit, a replacement item, or a refund in the amount of the purchase price excluding tax, shipping and handling, at our discretion. We must be notified within 30 days of the purchase date.
Dissatisfaction With Merchandise
If you are dissatisfied for any reason with your purchase please let us know. We do our best to keep our customers happy. At our discretion we may offer a refund, a discount, or a replacement of the item in question. Refunds are for purchase price excluding tax, shipping and handling. We must be notified within 30 days of the purchase date.
Refused Shipments
1. For any item shipped to a customer and refused, the customer will be credited the cost of the items less any and all shipping charges. Additional RETURN shipping charges may apply, depending on UPS, USPS or freight company policies.
2. Items may be accessed a minimum 15% restocking charge.
Delivery of Merchandise
1. Once an order is placed with the Wine C.A.R.T., any and all shipments may be delivered and left (released) by UPS, USPS or any designated freight company driver without any further authorization or notice from the ordering customer, the recipient of the order, or the Wine C.A.R.T.
2. Neither the Wine C.A.R.T., UPS, USPS or any designated freight company assume any liability for any merchandise, package or order once it is left (released) at the final delivery point. Unless specifically requested by the customer, packages may be left without a signature at the discretion of delivery personnel.
3. Lost or Presumed Stolen Shipments:
At the time of shipping, the order becomes the responsibility of UPS or the designated freight company; claims for lost, mis-delivered or mis-directed packages must be made by the customer to the Wine C.A.R.T. within 30 days from expected delivery of merchandise. The Wine C.A.R.T. will file a lost product claim and assist the customer, if required, in filing a claim with UPS or the designated freight company. The Wine C.A.R.T. cannot ship replacement merchandise until any such claim with UPS or the designated freight company has been settled. Missing or presumed stolen orders of packages are considered a serious criminal matter. The customer should file a police report and contact their insurance company or agent for further action.
How do I process a return with the Wine C.A.R.T.?
To request a return you must first contact us at chris@winecartoh.com and provide an explanation of the problem along with your order number. Your order number is provided for you on the email confirmation that is sent just after the order was placed. After we receive the information it will be processed and you will be sent instructions on how to return the item. Shipping and insurance is the responsibility of the customer. Credits, refunds, discounts etc., cannot be issued until the return is received. Credit card refunds may take one billing cycle to appear on the credit card statement. Returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee unless it was our error.
After contacting chris@winecartoh.com, you will then receive further instructions from our Return Department.

Include a copy of the original sales receipt with the package you are returning. Also include a letter as to the reason for the return, along with your name, address, and order number to chris@winecartoh.com. The order ID number is provided via the email receipt you received at the time of your order.
Upon the Wine C.A.R.T.'s receipt of your package, we will issue a credit, refund, discount, or replacement at our discretion.
